SUCCESSFUL CASES

Successful Cases:

Full dismissal of gun charges after multi-day hearings and bench trial in Manhattan.  Client released from court after being detained for months pending trial.

Dismissal of false rape charges after exhaustive investigation and 60 page alibi notice filed with the Bronx District Attorney’s Office proving conclusivesly that the client was completely innocent.  The investigation that  led to the dismissal included employment records and multiple sworn affidavits by witnesses. The client — who had no criminal record — faced up to life in prison and being a registered sex offender for these false charges.

Successfully reunited a son who was wrongfully removed from his father and kept in foster for two years.  The father ultimately obtained a final order of sole legal and physical custody.  This case was covered in a New York Magazine piece:  

A no jail sentence of time served obtained for a client convicted of money laundering conspiracy in Manhattan federal court after exhaustive mitigation submissions and argument.  The Government sought a sentence between 30 and 37 months in federal prison, followed by supervised release.

A sentence of time served with supervised release obtained for a client convicted of possession of ammunition and narcotics distribution.  The Government sought a sentence between 46 and 57 months in federal prison; the client served less than half of that time.

Successfully defended false child neglect allegations against a celebrity client, resulting in ACS unfounding the report and sealing the matter

Full dismissal of assault charges after bench trial in Manhattan.

Full dismissal of child abuse allegations in Manhattan Article 10 matter after trial.  During the trial multiple expert witnesses were called and examined by both sides along with the submission of hundreds of pages of exhibits.  The client testified on his own behalf after extensive preparation.  The subject child, who was in foster care, was immediately returned to her parents following the dismissal.
